“Before we went ahead with our loft conversion we had some reservations about what the costs might be, would we be able to afford it and would the disruption be such that we wouldn’t be able to live in the house and would have to move out for a long period of time. As it happened we did have to move out as the ceilings had to be lowered, but it was only for a very short period of time. The disruption was minimal.

We particularly appreciated the staircase. Although john was working from a design, he managed to re-design it to take up a smaller footprint, which gave us more room upstairs. He adapted things to integrate very nicely and the new staircase really blended in; so it looked like it was part of the original house, rather than an add-on.
