Our initial reasons for using Clarendon Carpentry were that John was local, had built a good reputation and was obviously trustworthy. Once John started working on our conversion we found him to be both diligent and reliable.

He did the job he said he was going to do in the time that he said he’d do it, which is very important. He also made sure that noise was kept to a minimum where possible and tidied away tools and equipment at the end of every day. He was a very likeable person to have around the house and was extremely considerate about the impact that building work can have on family life. Whilst John and his team were working for us, it was our daughter’s 6th birthday and he made her a lovely ‘card’ out of wood and hinges. This was such a thoughtful thing to do!

For those reasons we would recommend John to others and have already done so!
