Introducing Dan Wagstaff – Lead Carpenter

We are really pleased to welcome a new colleague to the team, Dan Wagstaff, who has been working with us since May 2015 .

We feel we’ve been really lucky to find Dan as he is very experienced at working on loft conversions; in fact he has concentrated solely on loft conversions for the last seven years. Even though he is only 28 Dan has completed over 50 lofts, so it’s fair to say that he really knows what he’s doing!

Dan says he enjoys building loft conversions as is one of the few jobs where you get to see something through from start to finish on a regular basis; you see the end result which is very satisfying.

‘It’s really great to see the customers reaction too, when they see the completed loft for the first time. Always makes me feel proud of what I’ve achieved’

Dan is an outdoor type and is a keen carp fisherman. He fishes in lakes all around the country and abroad. The biggest fish he’s caught was over 30lb. He has also owned a Harris Hawk in the past like Rob who does the roofs on our loft conversions.

Always up for a challenge, Dan has taken part in lots of events to raise money for charity, including raft building, cycling to Skegness and even sky diving!

We asked Dan what his thoughts were on working with Clarendon Carpentry Loft Conversions over the past few months.

‘I’ve really enjoyed working with John. He’s fair; he talks to you on the level and doesn’t try and play the big boss man. He treats you with respect and that makes you want to work hard and do a good job’

Welcome to the team Dan, great to have you with us!
